In my approach, the "mind" encompasses our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs. Trauma can significantly disrupt our mental landscape, leading to negative thought patterns, emotional dysregulation, and difficulty trusting ourselves and others. DBT provides a framework for understanding and managing these challenges.
By addressing the mind's unique needs in the context of trauma, we create a space for clients to heal, grow, and cultivate a healthier relationship with themselves and their thoughts.
